Two Ways To Obtain Surveyor General Diagrams & Plans

Access at your fingertips


Developers, planners, architects and conveyancers each look at Surveyor General plans and diagrams with excitement, as these portray so much detail and hold the seed of potential development. How to access the plans with ease?


There are two easy ways:

1. The excel auto emailer provided at http://csg.dla.gov.za/data.htm. 2. SG diagrams online at http://csg.dla.gov.za/esio/searchindex.htm. Here you can:

  • Either search by property;

  • By document number;

  • Get the parent erf for a sectional title scheme (there are blocks on the back of diagrams with the SS endorsement); and

  • Get the D number for the correct SS number.
