POPIA tips

Even though the noise of POPIA has died down somewhat there are still important tips to make sure that you are complying with this piece of legislation.

Here are our 3 tips to make sure that you are protecting information via emails:

Make sure that all your systems are password-protected, and that the passwords are not shared between staff members.
Always be sure to only share information that you are allowed to share, and to parties who are allowed to receive the information.
Don’t make the mistake of sending personal documents to the wrong person or even to a whole group of people. Double-check that the correct recipients are receiving the correct attachments.
