NEWSFLASH NMBMM Rates Department opening tomorrow

After further dialogue with the Attorneys Association of the South Eastern Cape, the Rates Clearance Supervisor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality issued a notice regarding this positive news yesterday afternoon, which only came to our attention after our Property Transfers Update earlier today.

The Department will open its offices tomorrow, 20 May 2020, and operate with skeleton staff which will rotate every two days. Their office hours will also be limited to 08h00 – 12h00.

We have been informed that priority will be given to the following:

1) Extensions

2) Re-lodgments

3) Registrations

4) Foreclosures
