NEWSFLASH Prime lending rate reduced by a further 1%

The Reserve Bank's Monetary Policy Committee announced just now that the interest rate has been cut by a further 100 basis points, one percent. This takes the repo rate to 4.25% per annum, its lowest-ever point.
